Explore the riches of the urban side of Poole Harbour with our series of Poole town winter birding walks. Poole Quay, Baiter and Poole Park are incredibly important feeding grounds for a range of species including Kingfisher, Brent Geese, Goldeneye, Great Northern Diver, Turnstone and more. Join our team for a guided tour, birding this unknown side to Poole Town for our regular free weekly walks.
Booking is essential to ensure compliance with the government's socialising rules and guidance.
Meet us outside our HQ on Poole Quay, 10 minutes before the advertised walk time. Walk type is easy, flat ground for the majority of the route. Fully accessible route for motorised wheelchairs and trampers. Please book to reserve your place.
Our guided walks are organised and planned in accordance with the current Government guidelines at the time of each event. All events are subject to change or cancellation should advice change. We ask guests to adhere to relevant social distancing guidelines during the event and to respect other guests space and welfare.
Our team at Birds of Poole Harbour really enjoy running our free guided walks around Poole Town and the Harbour. By making a donation to the charity you will help us to continue to run these free events. You can add a donation when you checkout or by visiting our donate page.
