  • Jerry's Point, Studland, Ferry Rd, Swanage, Dorset, BH19 3BA, United Kingdom
  • Show on map

Jerry's Point is one of the best places in the harbour to view open-water species during the winter. Sea ducks, divers, grebes and much more are visibile from this peninsula close to the harbour entrance. Not just this but it is also host to waders and waterfowl on the fringes making it a prime location to see a range of species that may otherwise be far out at sea or very rare. This winter it has already been a great site to watch Long-tailed Duck, Black-necked and Slavonian Grebes, Great Northern Diver, Red-throated Diver and Black-throated Diver and much more.

Join our team for a free Pop-up watch at anytime during the sessions to discover more about our winter visitors as our local experts point out these species. We will provide several spotting scopes to give close views of the birds and hopefully see some great species. There is no need to purchase tickets just come along on the dates and times below.
